Most people add another book, another conversation, another framework on top of the clear answer they already have, hoping a slightly more poetic version of the truth will arrive that does not require the move.
It will not. The truth has already been delivered. The negotiation is what keeps it from landing.
What it costs to stay comfortable
Every year you stay in the negotiation, you build a version of yourself that has more language and less movement.
You become impressive at describing your stuckness. The friction stops being a place you pass through and starts becoming a place you live.
Comfort is not bad. Mistaking it for clarity is.
